"SURF’S UP"  VOLUNTEERS are the backbone of Children's Ministry at Suncoast.  Their passion and dedication to serve God and the kids at Suncoast make this an awesome place.

Qualifications

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Have a heart for children
• Personal life and behaviors reflect integrity and conform with the word of God
• Attend Suncoast Community Church at least 3 months
• Volunteer Profile and Background checks completed, turned in and processed for 18 year olds and over
• 6th grade up to 17 years of age (girls only) are considered                            “Student Volunteers”.  They will be required to fill out the Volunteer Profile, and attend a one time orientation    class.  They will not be required to have a background check.
• Attend Training as needed

 We recommend as a SURF’S UP  volunteer you

Participate in the 3 C’s

• Celebrate (attend a worship service including the weeks you serve in the children’s area)

• Connect (attend a life group)

• Contribute (use your gifts & talents for the Lord like working with children)

Read the Bible and pray on a daily basis

Especially pray for the children you minister to, the

parents and families of those children, the volunteers

you work with, and that the Lord would use you in

reaching and teaching the kids
