Joshua 4:1-7

In our spiritual life, we are all on a journey. Our faith and trust in God is what helps guide our steps along the journey. Faith is not the removal of obstacles, it is the experience of the obstacles that strengthens our faith.

Always take a stone from the riverbed.

How many times is “remember” written in the scriptures? We often forget important things which can lead to feelings of anxiety. We also forget important moments that have happened in life and, once remembered, they can inspire our current life. The Bible is full of reminders that sound simple, but can be very powerful (especially in dark times). When we feel like we have lost our faith, remember that God can reignite that fire within you.

When you have a moment of remembering, “pick u a stone” or keep a reminder of that moment of holding strong to your trust in God, especially when you have good reason to lose it. The reminder is not for the heartache; it is for the moment you realized God was still with you.

Always take a moment for reflection.

God is interested in your heart, not your goals and dreams in life. Living your life with love, grace, forgiveness, and faith in your heart is a life worth living.

Always take time to give God credit when we see awesome things accomplished.
